Introducing our Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Ikijime Spike, the ultimate tool for quickly and humanely killing the fish you catch to improve it's eating quality!

We all know that the way to get the best quality seafood from your catch is to minimize its suffering as soon as possible. Our Ikijime spike is a purpose built tool for just that: brain spike the fish quickly and efficiently!

Instantaneous and Humane: Our ikijime spike delivers a swift and painless death to the fish, minimizing stress and maximizing the quality of your catch.

Convenient Loop Attachment: The spike features a practical loop on the end, allowing you to easily attach it to your float or speargun for convenient use.

Marine-Grade Stainless Steel: Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, our spike guarantees durability, corrosion resistance, and a long lifespan. The loop is made to fit perfectly with our Old Man Blue Shark Clips.

How to Use:

  1. Attach the looped end of the spike to your float or speargun.
  2. After spearing a fish, quickly locate its brain region by following the fish's lateral line to it's head, just behind and above the eyes.
  3. With a swift motion, insert the ikijime spike into the brain.
  4. Quickly use your knife to cut its gills which allows the fish to bleed out in the water, improving meat quality.

Experience the Difference

Try it for yourself! Don't let your catch flop around and suffocate to death, not only is this a terrible way to treat your catch but it directly and negatively affects the eating quality of your fish. Taste and see the difference for yourself!
