Designed to improve mobility and stability in the water, be ergonomic on land or in the boat, the Orca Harness went through many designs before landing on what we believe is the ultimate weight vest.

The tight fit creates a low profile which hugs your upper back, improving efficiency, reducing strain and makes hard to get it snagged on anything.

Get rid of back pain caused by big clunky weight belts. Spreading the load vertically along your spine makes for a huge difference in the water and on the boat. You'll notice the difference instantly.

Improved performance in the water.

You'll find it easier to duck dive, lie flat on the surface and notice improved stability and mobility underwater.

Track your dive buddies.

The Orca Eye and Old Man Blue logo stand out in deep, dirty or dark water making it easy to spot and track your dive buddies when they are deep underwater.

Weight Capacity & Built-in storage

Insert up to 2lb weights in the weight pouch (see graphic below). The horizontal strap is easy to access while wearing the Orca Harness and can store several items for easy, in-water access. Store your Safety Mirror, whistle or safety flag inside and attach your dive knife to the straps. 

Use with or without a normal weight belt.

Ditch the belt completely or split the weight between it and the Orca Harness. You'll find the perfect balance while hugely reducing the amount of weight on your lower back.

Safety Features

Two options for buckles: stainless steel or plastic. The stainless steel buckle is fast and easy to release and drop in an emergency, but if you want it to release even quicker we have a plastic version of the buckle which allows for even quicker release in an emergency. 
Large white Orca Eye makes it easy to spot and track your dive buddies.
Low profile means less chance of getting snagged.
Store a Safety Mirror, whistle, safety sausage, dive knife and various other small pieces of gear to use when needed.

What weights do I need?
The Orca Harness will take standard 1lb and 2lb weights.

10cm x 5.3cm x 1.5cm = 2lb weight
10cm x 5.3cm x 0.75cm = 1lb weight

Please note, the Orca Harness does not include weights.
